Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This policy explains what Content List AI Private Limited (“Content List”) collects and how we use it, for the service at contentlist.in.

What we collect

  • Account info — from your sign-in provider (e.g. Google): name, email, avatar.
  • Content you save — URLs, your notes, tags, and collections.
  • Derived data — metadata, cached thumbnails, extracted text, and embeddings we generate to power previews and search.
  • Usage & device data — basic analytics and error logs to run and improve the service.

How we use it

To operate the service: authenticate you, store and display your library, generate previews/tags/search, and keep the service reliable and secure.

Who we share with (sub-processors)

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Groq and OpenAI — AI processing for auto-tagging and search.
  • Analytics & error monitoring (e.g. PostHog, Sentry), where enabled.

We do not sell your personal data.

Public content

Items and collections you mark public appear on your public profile and may be indexed by search engines. Everything is private by default.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data, including deleting your account. Depending on your location (e.g. EEA/UK), you may have additional rights under GDPR. Contact hello@contentlist.in to make a request.

Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request. We use reasonable technical measures to protect it, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13.
